Gift Wrapping Product Idea That Will Do Well In Today’s Market.

1) What is your idea?

Which gift wrapper persona is the target of your idea?

Explain which trend your idea focuses on. You can pick one of the trends from above, or something different!

Gift wrapper persona my idea is for

I’m someone that believes in Pierre Corneille, Le Menteur quote which says:

The manner of giving is worth more than the gift.

There is this joy and unusual excitement by the receiver for a trendily wrapped gift. Therefore, the gift wrapper persona this idea is meant for is the Confidence Creatives.

Gift-wrapping is important because it helps turn any object into a gift and creates a surprise effect. Besides, gift packaging is a perfect way to express care and a positive attitude. People use the way the gift is presented to measure your love for them. Everyone wants people to go out of their way and give them attention, so wrapping a gift magically does this smoothly.

Trend my idea focuses on.

My idea will focus on Sustainable gift wrapping solutions. These include eco-friendly solutions:

· Wrapping Boxes With Recyclable Paper Bags-

· Reuse Cardboard Shipping Boxes

· Upcycling Shipping Supplies like tissue paper sheets and brown or white packing paper

· Use Biodegradable Paper Tape

· Turn Old Clothes Into Ribbons and Bows

· Tie Gifts Up With Compostable Twine

· Gift Items In Recycled or Repurposed Bags

Research recently conducted by GreenPrint Survey finds that consumers wants to buy eco-friendly products.

It went further to state that:

· 78% of people are more likely to purchase a product that is clearly labeled as environmentally friendly.

· 75% of Millennials are willing to pay more for an environmentally sustainable product

· 77% of Americans are concerned about the environmental impact of products they buy.

· 76% of Americans would switch their preferred packaged goods brand if they were offsetting carbon emissions.

“Companies must build trust and loyalty by clearly demonstrating that they share environmental goals with their customers. Defending and preserving our planet is not only the right thing to do, it’s good business. Companies that are able to navigate the business of sustainability will be best positioned for future success.” — Mr. Davis

America was used as a case study.

how many people care about eco-friendly products?

2) How does your idea improve the process of wrapping and giving gifts?

Wrapping gifts should not be tedious as it seems. It should be an enjoyable and stress free process.

Growing up, my mom’s wrapped gifts were essentially works of art. They were gorgeous, though excruciatingly time consuming. She made use of these shiny and personalized paper.

Recently, we decided to change the way things were done. Gifts are placed inside the bag completely unwrapped and during our holiday celebration, instead of unwrapping our gifts, we each reach into the bag and pull out our gifts one by one.

The bags are made of thick, durable cotton canvas and have been reused over and over. We now spend less time wrapping and more time enjoying family.

3) Why would your product idea do well in today’s market?

There is a psychological effect the mention of the phrase “eco-friendly” has on people who want to purchase a product. They want to be part of those that stand for environmentally friendly products, and as a way to show solidarity, they buy products that is eco-friendly.

Also, as mentioned before, from the research conducted by GreenPrint Survey shows that consumers wants to buy eco-friendly products.

So will the product idea do well? Sure!

4) OPTIONAL: Feel free to include an artistic rendering (sketch, mockup, etc.) if you feel it will strengthen your submission
